The 11th International Conference on Maternal and Child Health Handbook
Dr. Thawat Suntrajarn, Vice Minister of Public Health said The 11th International Conference on Maternal and Child Health Handbook is a cooperative effort established by the Ministry of Public Health Thailand and the International Committee on Maternal and Child Health Handbook with great supports from many concerned organizations and partners. It is an important forum to update the progress of MCH handbook development around the world, to learn from the best practice countries that can utilize the MCH handbook in the most useful and practical way, and also to discuss about the future plan on how countries can share knowledge and innovations on MCH handbook in consideration of Universal Health Coverage.
Dr. Thawat said This year conference, the Ministry of Public Health Thailand has attempted to convene the conference in the best academic atmosphere with fully participation from various organizations. The conference consists of special lectures from international keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations and many exhibitions with around 500 attending participants. Additionally, we, the Ministry of Public Health, are very delighted that the 11th International Conference on Maternal and Child Health Handbook, has finally been conducted in Thailand this year. It is the second time since we acquired the opportunities to conduct the 4th the International Conference on Maternal and Child Health Handbook last 14 years ago
